Not that anyone watches The View on ABC or even cares about it, but apparently they’re getting rid of Meredith Vieira and replacing her with Rosie O’Donnell.
There’s a saying…. “At first you don’t succeeed try, try again. I guess Star Jones wasn’t fat enough for the show. They had to go and raise the fat-level w/ Rosie. Replacing Meredith with Rosie is like trading in a nicely built compact-car for a 747 Jumbo-jet. Not only is it a great deal larger, but it’s also a hell of a lot louder (and burns quite a bit more gas in the process).
It’ll be interesting to see which Jumbo-Jet is louder, Rosie or Star.

OMG! Rosie? Thats weird! I guess that means her show got cancelled, and she is in need of a job, since she can’t get movie rolls anymore. Ellen is the new hit, and Rosie is out. Good Luck.
I do watch the view, and I like it, but I liked it more when Barbara Walters was a regular host on it, now its that dippy blonde woman, without barely any brains. Just Kidding, she is smart, but not near as educated as Barbara.

The Dopey blonde was debbie metaloanous(or something like that) they replaced her with Elizabeth Haselbeck, who is actually quite smart. I believe she is the only Conservative on the panel.
Elizabeth was on survivor.
Star Jones has actually lost alot of wieght, she had her stomach stapled. There will be no constest between Rosie and Star.
I HATE Barabara WaWa. She has this heir of superiority that just pisses me off.

I like Barbara, because you actually see a bit of personality when he interviews just don’t. Its nice to see someone who is real.

Ditto, I know you dont believe that the person you see on TV is the “real” Barbara Walters. All the interviews she does are just softball, celebrity interviews that amount to absolutely nothing at all. I would love to see her use her influence to make a difference when she interviews. She might as well work for those gossip magazines.
Plus she is a big time liberal

You know joey…I thought your comment was well thought-out until I read the very last part. You attacked her because she is a ‘big time liberal’. That’s like me attacking you for being conservative. You shouldn’t bash someone merely for having an opinion. Sure, feel free to attack her positions, but don’t attack her because she *has* an opinion.
I agree, her interviews aren’t very hard-hitting at all. She does the fluffy feel-good interviews that I personally don’t care a bit about.

No, they’re only fluff interviews unless she’s interviewing a conservative. Remember how she completely ambushed Tom Selleck on her old show?
He only wanted to promote his latest film, but she wanted a mud-slinging contest, simply because he is a member of the NRA.
But forget the fact that she’s liberal………..or a butch lesbo………..she’s just WEIRD…………and loud too.

Haha Chris, thats funny. Both are weird, but Rosie is the only lesbo that I know of between the 2 of them. Rosie is a good person, I don’t have a problem with her at all, Barbara I don’t care for as much, but she is a problem to everyone else apparently.

Ramdac, By calling her a big LIberal I am attacking her opinions. It is simply stating that every opinion she has is just barely to the right of Ted Kennedy.
Just like I am labeled a conservative because of my opinions, Which I have no problem with. I dont think everyone should dislike Big LIBS. I just dont like Most.
