BP Oil spill the biggest Ever in the US
Guess what? BP is in the news again. This time they’re really showing us how much they care about the environment. They are involved in the biggest oil spill on US soil in history. See the story here.
In summary, they spilled 270,000 gallons of crude oil in Prudhoe Bay, Alaska, triggering investigations by federal and state agencies.
From the article, “The grand jury investigation comes as BP’s US operations are under heightened scrutiny following a string of accidents and regulatory violations – most notably the March spill in Alaska and an explosion last year at its Texas City refinery that killed 15 people and injured an estimated 500.
BP is already facing a grand jury probe in Texas for that accident – at the company’s biggest refinery – meaning it could face legal retributions from two of its biggest US operations.”
This story comes exactly a month after I told you about the danger of BP, in the previous article.
EVERYONE should see this movie at the theaters: http://www.climatecrisis.net/. So what a politician was behind it :). It’s still very interesting.
