What happened to the Eagles?

December 6th, 2005

42-0. That was the score when the NFL’s Seattle Seahawks were done stomping a mudhole in the Philadelphia Eagles this week. So what happened to the Eagles? Are they at such a low point because of the whole Terrell Owens debacle? I bet Owens was sitting on his couch laughing his ass off and saying “I told you so”.

Donovan McNabb (Quarterback) is out for the rest of the season. Two of there best defensive players are out for the season. Brian Westbrook (Running Back) got Hurt Monday Night, He is out the rest of the season. The seahawks scored three touchdowns on defense, and returned another interception to the one yard line. It was a case where everything just went wrong. The Eagles are eventually going to be better off without Owens.

I don’t think it would’ve mattered if Owens was there or not. They had a bad year from the beginning. I haven’t watched them too often, but what I have watched hasn’t been pretty.
