The FBI Wants to wiretap, again.

April 24th, 2004

The FBI wants to see what you type. They’re trying to convince the government to require Internet service providers, instant-messaging services like AOL’s AIM, MSN’s Messenger to build in
backdoors for “easy wiretapping” (or key logging). As if this wasn’t bad enough, they’re trying to be secretive about it. Instead of going to Congress for approval,
the FBI and the DEA are pressing the FCC to move forward with it.

See the full story. You be the judge.

I’m sure Bush will be all for it. He’ll probably say it’ll fit well under the Patriot Act.

Do the majority of Americans want this? Canada is sounding pretty good right about now.

This country hasnt been about the what the majority of Americans wanted in a very long time. The Government takes our money and gives it to programs that really dont have a place in society. LIke the saying goes, “We want the Democrats out of our Wallets, and the Republicans out of our bedroom.”

Joey, you’ve just captured the very essence of what I’m talking about here.

I want the Democrats out of my wallet and the Republicans out of my bedroom!
