Nick Berg’s Father is Angry
Here is story (registration required) of Nick Berg’s Father. He seems to be mad at The Bush Administration and Donald Rumsfeld. He said that his son died for the sins of Bush and Rumsfeld.
I feel sorry for him because he lost his son, but to pretend that these murderers aren’t at fault is jsut plain dumb. Nick Berg’s Father said he doesn’t blame the Killers. All I can say is Wow!

i personally would blame the killers, cause… i mean, hey. they killed him. but, if you want to backtrack, technically, i guess some blame could be dealt to bush, because without bush, we wouldn’t be in iraq to begin with.

for that matter, if it weren’t for saddam we wouldn’t have needed bush.

My heart goes out to his family. So many emotions go thru your head and heart when you lose a son. You want to find a reason, a cause, and someone to blame.
My baby brother passed away 18 months ago. And I have thought of him every day since. Every single day. I’m sure that Mr Berg will do the same with his son.
I watched Mr Berg on television, and I had mixed emotions. Mostly I felt sorry for a man who has to deal with a personal loss on a national (and probably world-wide) level. If someone had stuck a camera in my face right after my brother died, Lord knows what I would have said.
My head says that Mr Berg has no right to blame anyone but the man who killed his son. And his son had a choice to even be there in the first place.
My heart says that Mr Berg should be able to say anything and everything that might help him deal with a loss that he will think of every day of his life.

I do feel sorry for what Mr. Berg is going through, I cant even imagine what he is going through. But to place blame on the adminstration isnt healthy either I wouldnt think. He made something that is very personal very political

The anger that Mr. Berg is displaying is understandable. Many have lost friends and family, but few such as this. A worldwide showing of such a horrible death of your son should allow Mr. Berg to express his feelings anyway he chooses. In my opinion, Mr. Berg is blinded by the death of his son and his beleifs. The persons responsible for his son’s death, are the terrorist, not the President of the United States or anyone in his administration. What is happening here, is what has always happened in war. This time, the difference in the speed of communication. Wartime atrocities are nothing new. Satellite broadcasting is. The citizens of the US questioning our government also is not new. It’s a democracy thing, a freedom of speech thing, a United States thing. The rest of the world loves us/hates us, admires us/despises us, thinks we are generous/greedy, smart/stupid, etc. And you know what, we are all of those things. Some tend to accentuate the positive things about us, some the negative. When we are attacked, most Americans will fight back. We will attack the enemy, where they are. I am a patriot, although I am not blinded by patriotism. The US is not perfect. People need to remember the feeling they had at about noon on Sept. 11, 2001. Whatever mistakes our government had made, the United States did not deserve that. If there was ever an act of war, that was it. We forget the feeling too soon. Be prepared young idealist, this will continue for a while.
