CNN SUCKS

January 23rd, 2004

CNN News is starting to piss me off.
During presidential primaries, wouldn’t you think it logical to discuss issues? Yeah, me too. This is one of the times where CNN’s liberal bias is overly blatant. Those bastards over at CNN are stuck on talking about “Who’s in the lead”, “Who’s got momentum”, “Who won at last night’s debate”, “Who is leading in the latest neat little poll”, or “who goofed something up”. I’ve not heard them NOT EVEN ONCE talk about actual issues since even before the Iowa Caucus. I am so mad at CNN right now. For this reason, CNN is on my temporary blacklist. Those Sh*theads need to get it together. People care about issues, and not who’s the coolest or who had a “guttural voice” and was yelling–we don’t give a sh*t about this.
I hear that MSNBC is just as bad at this type of Bullsh*t coverage.

Find me a station that covers the issues, and I’ll give them an attentive viewer.
Here’s why I think they’re not talking about the issues. I think the DNC all too well knows that if they focus on the issues, none of them will stack up against the “electability” of Bush. They know they some problems. Well you know what, I don’t care. I want to hear what these people think. I want to have a comparison of the issues.

If you want to know the differences in position on the issues, forget about TV. Go to http://www.issues2000.org/. This is the only place where I feel one can get a realistic view of how the “frontrunners” stand on the issues.

That is because for the canidates dont talk about the real issues. Other than Leiberman, I cant think of one that I can tell you where he stands, and we all know he doesnt stand a chance.

Yeah, and if you heard the other candidates views you’d think much the same–”this guy just doesn’t stand a chance”

But You are right, CNN does suck. The only station for new is the fair and balanced look at the news fox news. Just stay away from O’reilly and Hannity and Colmes

I’m right there with you, J. I think the point is proved, too, with Kerry and Edwards beating Dean in Iowa. I think the statement made there was “You cannot win a Presidential election solely on the claim that you opposed the war in Iraq.”
What little I have heard about issues from Kerry and Edwards, though, are exactly the same — “I’ll create jobs and I’ll defend the country.” What candidate ever said anything different? The only thing about them is that they look “electable”, and that’s all the news is covering. They’re going to have to have a lot more to say if they want to come close to beating Bush, and frankly, it doesn’t look like they do.

Well i agree that the news sucks, and i don’t care if kerry had botox shots or not i just want someone to get that idiot bush out of the freaking white house. my personal favorite would be wesley clark, and i think that he could beat bush if he had more money. see that is what sucks about bush he’s too rich, and therefore can get more and spend more. let’s also not forget that his brother is the gov. in florida, how do you think he got the position anyways.

All corporate owned media is sensational fluff at best and disinformation at worst. If you’re truly serious about the issues, give C-Span a try; it’s amazingly free of corporate control. I guess they figure no one under 65 will watch it, since there are no costume malfunctions, clips of two headed babys; or sordid speculation about murder cases.

C-span does a great job in some areas, but I have not seen a Republican on it in awhile
