Bush has said that there isnt a clear connection between the two recently. Political cartoons are just that cartoons. The cartoon prolly came from CNN. But I understand the bias behind it.

I think that this is ridiculous. To say that there is no link between Iraq and terrorism is, at the very least, showing that a person doesn’t want to admit that there is a link. And I will say it, even if The Weekly Standard won’t…in my opinion, that Federal judge just gutted The Patriot Act…..I will hold him reponsible if the United States is ever hit again by terrorists.

First off. I’m voting for Bush in the next election. Not because I’m Pro-Bush, but because I am Anti-Fucking-Moron-American. Criticize the man for invading Iraq if you like, and tell me that you want our troops out of Iraq because we’ve not focused on afghanistan. The pure fact is, what you see on TV and what is actually going on are two entirely different things. Just because Afghanistan is not in the news anymore doesn’t make it any less a target of military strikes. We bomb daily still. Not to mention that the clear link between an obvious Palestinian activist and Terrorism (which is the meaning of Al-Qaeda) is pretty obvious. Saddam said ‘Long live Palestine’ countless times. Now, I may be wrong, but I’ve actually been in that part of the world, and I gotta tell ya. These ‘extremists’ need to go whatever way possible. I don’t care if you have to break out the nalpalm again. Start doing something about it. When planes were raining down, you people didn’t have any fucking problems with attacking and killing. Now, suddenly a few years later, everything is supposed to be hunky dory? And you wanna go back to the way shit was. Well news flash assholes, shit isn’t that way anymore. We need more death, more destruction. So fuck off, and eat some shit. Vote Bush … not because you like him, but because he does the fucking job he says he’s going to do.

I’m not saying you can’t say whatever the hell you want to. This is my website, and I know the kind of poeple that read it may find that sort of language offensive. However, because I believe in free speech and because I think censorship is dumb in a lot of cases, I’m leaving it be.

So where did you get this last bit of info? From the US intel or CNN, where what you see differs from reality? Pure fact? There are no pure facts in politics! I swear I did not have sexual relations with that womoan!
oh, and people, just because there are two major parties in the US does not mean everyone has to belong to one side or the other. There are many of us who dislike the ultra left bleeding hearts yet dislike the church going anti-flag burning rightist just as well.

I’m with Sparkie. With some exceptions (ramdac included), I really loathe civilians. They’re ignorant. They think - I mean, they honestly do think - that what they see on CNN and any other news channel is 100% true. I hate to always end up bringing up military background, but it seems to me that that background has at least given me a realistic view of what’s going on on the other side of the planet.
I recently got a phone call regarding that sandy shit-hole and I’m terrified all over again. Yet, nothing’s been on the news. Hmmm. Now, tell me, why would a person worry about a place that no news is coming from? Duh, civvies… Because something is going on. Something’s always go on. Always.
Pull the t.v. out of your ass and get a better perspective on things. Do some digging.

Well, I agree that as a “civilian” I dont know what is going on. Really I dont know if I want to know completely, so therefore I dont complain about the war.
If someone wants to dislike Bush because policy at home that is fine, but to have an opinion about war in which we know nothing about is wrong. Of course this does not include the poeple who are fighting or have fought for this country. They know what war is all about.
Dork, I am offended. As a “church goer” I have an open mind. I believe that someone who burns an American Flag would have to be a dork, but you have that right. Politics in this country have proven no one on the far left or right get elected President.
However if I choose to vote on my moral beliefs, then I have that right. Just like you have to right to vote any way you want.

Joey, no direct assault/offense meant, d00d. Just a broad observation is all. Heck, I grew up in church. But that darn tree of knowledge led me away.
I have noticed there are more open minded church goers these days. Perhaps its the growth of ‘liberalised religion’ or’ modernised religion’? I’ve read some on how churches have grown more liberal of late to keep membership steady or to grow membership.
Yeah, its a Good Thing (TM) we have no far right or left elected president. Its sad that this does not appear to be a direct result of democracy though, but more of a result of the elected official trying to win votes from all sides of the fence so to speak. A marketeering result of sorts depending on poles, ratings, and stats, eh?

You are also right about the church becoming more open minded, but I still wouldnt support a homosexual as my preacher.

What’s you fucken problem can’t u see Bush is a damn liar Bush family has been friend with Bin Ladens family for yeeears. The terrorist attacks were planned by fucken Bush because open door commerce politics werent working and USA was headin towards a great depression. He needed to close door and the only way to do it without getting closed doors from the rest of the world was that way! Nobody argued when he told USA was going to be closing doors after Sept 11.
And forget fucking Bush patriotism he attacked Iraq merely for its Fucken oil. Corea and China have enoug nuclear bombs to blow USA 12 times (even with the defense system Bush intalled) and he hasn’t sent even a fckn plane to overviewe.
Everithing is about fucking OIL he wants to have all the reserves OIL is power, even with hydrogen cars coming Oil is good for most everything and by the time Hydrogen cars are common place in USA they will be still quite far off reach in most parts of the world. So main Oil reserves will be of USA and he will control the sales.
